I can tell they are there (somewhere), because trying to post the same message generates a warning that it is a duplicate.

But they don’t show up at all. I tried all the suggested steps, swapping the theme, changing permalinks, etc, but nothing worked.

UPDATE: I found that the replies are being seen as ‘Spam’.
I visited Replies and then chose ‘Spam’ as the Filter, and there they were.

How can I stop this from happening?
