Can I create a “read only” forum?
I notice now that I can create a post then “close” it, but then it “grays out” the print.
is there a way the a forum can be read only, and/or close the thread so it looks normal and not grayed out (or something).

I think it is very weird that BBPress does not have a “read-only” option .. But can I just change the font color in a “closed” forum from the (very hard to read) light gray color to a regular black color?

That would accomplish the same thing
