I suspect I’ll end up writing this one too (it’s getting a bit exhausting) but has anyone written a plugin so members can give other members “karma” points for posting a good post?

I don’t want to reward users simply based on their number of posts as they will make meaningless posts just for the points.

Not that I know of, I was looking for one and was planning one as my first plugin before we decided not to use the system on my forums .

I say go for it , my current bbpress motto is: “If _ck_ did it, it’s good”… So I trust you more than I trust myself.
