I have the exact same problem. Been trying different solutions for over 1 hour now so I would really appreciate if someone had a solution to this problem. 🙂

thats not the post-date its suppose to be an IP address

only keymasters and maybe moderators can see it and its for banning users from their IP addresses

use this custom CSS to make a little tidy

span.bbp-author-ip {
    font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,"Nimbus Sans L",sans-serif;
    font-size: 11px;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #AAA;
    word-wrap: break-word;
}

here is to remove it

Thanks! Looks much better now 🙂 Btw do you know how i can get the right content next to the avatar image and not all the way under? looks a bit weird.
