Why? and How to fix?

Buddypress also had this error, but they fixed it almost 2 years ago. Something to do with calling is_user_logged_in()

what version of bbPress / BuddyPress / WordPress are you using?

WP 4.1.1
BBP 2.5.6
BP 2.2.1 (not 2.4, that doesn’t seem to exist)

Incidentally, as you can see, they both have the same notice, despite that article stating they had fixed in the mysterious version 2.4

i think the 2.4 version was suppose to be bbPress.

so it should be patched up.

see if its something else causing the issue.

It could be a theme or plugin issue

Plugins

Deactivate all but bbpress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.

Themes

If plugins don’t pinpoint the problem, as a test switch to a default theme such as twentytwelve, and see if this fixes.
