Not sure if this is just not a feature, a bug, or an issue with my installation or theme.

When a user posts a reply to a topic that is multiple pages long, it appends the post ID to the URL but still brings them back to page one of the topic.

For example, if I post to…

mysite.com/forums/topic/test-top/page/14/

after I am redirected to…

mysite.com/forums/topic/test-top/#post-223774

So then I have to click back to page 14 and scroll down to see my post. Is this normal behavior or is my forum not appending the page number when it redirects me after posting?

Wanted to bump this and see if anyone has experienced a similar issue or has a suggestion as to how I can try to troubleshoot it.
