forum search widget doesn’t display. It sould be at the top of the sidebar here:

this is 2014 theme with bbpress as the only active plugin.
any thoughts? as the address indicates this is a WP Engine staging site.

OK, found the ‘Allow forum wide search’ setting. It appears when my theme is activated this box refuses to remain checked when saving forum settings. Following up with theme developer. If anyone has any thoughts I’d be interested to hear.

Could you double check with the Twenty Fourteen theme please.

I’m thinking either the theme or a plugin is only conditionally displaying widgets on certain pages, this may be configurable, or may not.
