If you look here: https://www.fusion2k.co.uk/forums/forum/general/ the right column “last post” shows the time as being a couple of days ago (which is when the last TOPIC was created).

Once you click into “General Discussion” (https://www.fusion2k.co.uk/forums/forum/general/general-discussion/) you’ll see the one topic there shows the last post as being much more recent.

I assume they are both supposed to show the same time? As currently the top link makes it look like there’s been no posts in that category for over 2 days.

Has anyone else had this issue? Or is this the correct way it is supposed to work? If so does anyone know of a way to change it?

it is a bug that can be seen sometimes with subforums.

Install

bbp style pack

once activated go to

dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>bug fixes

Fix Last Active Time

This should fix it for future, but you may also need to run

dashboard>tools>forums>repair forums>freshness

to reset it.

Thank you. This plugin looks very useful.

I did the bug fixes (both options) and repaired the freshness, but it didn’t work.

I managed to fix it by setting the subforms to no parent, and then back to having parents, and for whatever reason it’s working OK again. So it may have been a combination of both.

once it has gone wrong it can take a new post to fix.

Hopefully it will be ok going forward with the first bug fix enabled
