Integrate bbPress with my template fullwidth

  • @vanraidex

    Member

Hello. I wonder how I can or I have to be configured to integrate bbPress on my template. I have a page fullwidth, ie that only has the header, footer and bottom, making it perfect for integrating the forum.

How I can do to make bbPress use this page?

A greeting and thank you very much.

    Sorry for the English

Most likely it is just a matter of adjusting some css rules, as with the plugin you don’t actually assign page templates to the forums.

I’m using the bbpress plugin (Twenty Ten) and would love to know how to make it wider.

    For example: http://www.cyclecincy.com/cc/?page_id=71

    This really should work: http://www.cyclecincy.com/cc/?page_id=71

If not, go to http://www.cyclecincy.com/cc and click on Forum

It looks like you got it figured out as the forum is stretching all the way to your right sidebar. Site is looking quite good.

What if I don’t want a sidebar on the forum page? I want it to look like “full page template” . How do I do that for the forum only? (Yes, I am using BbPress plugin in WP)

Bloody hell Cyclecincy, that forum looks really good. I’ve been trying in vain to get mine to look even half decent (for some reason BBPress looked awful with my theme). Any chance you could tell me how you did it and show me the CSS???

Cyclecincy is currently using the default theme that comes with bbPress 2.0.

Yeah I know, for some reason that refused to work with my theme – really annoying.
