How to remove “forum” from URL?

Hi,
I want to remove forum from the URL.
example:
From:
http://www.example.com/forum/forum-name
to
http://www.example.com/forum-name.

Can anyone please help me to solve this?

In Settings > Forums in the WordPress backend disable the Forum Prefix it has a description beside it that says

Prefix all forum content with the Forum Root slug (Recommended)
