How to move postings to another Forum

    Hello,
    my Forum http://www.exoten-forum.de is on the air for only one day now. When users postet interesting photos in “Test” I’d like to move the posting to the appropiate forum f.i. “Palm trees”. But this does not work. The “move” button only offers a new thread in the same forum. How can I move postings all over?

    WP Version 5.6
    Theme Twenty Twenty-One
    BBPress Version 2.6.6

    Did you try to change the topic’s forum in the wp topic’s backend?

    No, I tried the “verschieben” (move ?) on top of the posting. I did not want to move the topic, but just one posting in it.

    The same way, you can try to change the topic id in the replies wp backend.

    But probably, this is not what you want.

    I do not want to change a topic but to move a posting.

    Sometimes users write postings in the wrong forum. They should have written it in another forum or subforum. How can an admin or moderator move such a post to the correct forum?
    (That was meant with the question)

    A reply is connected to a Topic and a Topic is connected to a Forum.

    Reply -> Topic -> Forum

    So, if you want a topic to be moved to another forum, it is possible. (As I explained in my previous posts.)

    If you want a reply to be moved to another topic, it’s also possible.

    But you cannot move a reply to another forum because a reply is connected to a topic. You need to move the topic or assign reply to another topic in the destination forum.
