just use shortcodes
https://codex.bbpress.org/shortcodes/
in particular
[bbp-single-forum id=$forum_id]
Thanks for the info robin.
I have a small doubt, pls clarify.
So I will create a new page and paste the required short code and select the parent page, right? That’s all?
Thank you once more.
And about the forum, where do I find the page id? Is it the page name or some number. Sorry I am a beginner. And thanks once again.
Page id – go to
Dasboard>forums>all forums
Hover over the edit button of the forum, but do not click.
you will see in the bottom left the url of that forum with forum=xxx that is the number
i did everything as told, but it did not work and i don’t know where the problem is? does it have to do any thing with the appearance>menu option?
thank you.
yes, i have done that, but with no result.
ok, first i created a new page and put the short code [bbp-single-forum id=105] as per my forum id and then changed the required parent page and published. thats it right?
yes that should work, I can’t say why it isn’t for you
hello,
do i have to change anything to the appearance>menus?
thank you.
Maybe if you want it to appear in the menu.
I am struggling to understand your exact issues, if you need further help, can you post a link to your website.
simply said, i want the sub forums to be as sub pages in my menu
and as for my website it doesn’t have any content right now worth the situation
ok fro for each menu item
1. create a wordpress page
2. put the shortcode for that subforum in it
3. publish
4. add to menu or sub menu
Is it possible to leave a Link Menu empty – the URL I mean?
