We’ve hidden AddThis on our forum index page/front page by checking “Remove AddThis” on the Forums page, but they’re still showing up for EACH topic in our forum, which looks horrible.

Does anyone know how to hide these? It makes our forum seem as if it’s not private and people’s posts aren’t protected by having social sharing buttons there.

Is there some sort of code we could put into one or more of the bbpress php files to exclude it?

In case anyone else is having this problem, we just removed AddThis altogether (lost all our likes!) and started using the Socialize plugin for social media.

It has a setting that you can uncheck for Forums and voila – problem solved!
