Hi,

I’m trying to give full admin capabilties for BBPress to a user with the Editor role, but it’s driving me nuts.

I’ve assigned them the Keymaster Role, but they still only have Forums in the Dashboard, no sign of Topics or Replies.

How can I let a user with the role ‘Editor’ access these Dashboard items?

I did a bunch of searching and 2.2 supposedly fixed this issue with the ability to allow you to assign a Forum role to people, but as you can see, that’s not working.

None of the other solutions I found worked either.

Any advice?

Sorry if this is a breach of etiquette but I guess you can’t edit your posts after a certain time.

I’ve managed to get Topics & Replies appearing, but not Forums, by making them Moderator instead. This will probably do, but the only way I could do it involved uninstalling User Role Editor (after trying resetting and all sorts of things).

Now the problem is I can’t give the user access to another plugin I need them to be able to use.
