Hi there,

Forum replies are displaying with the incorrect timestamp. All replies to a topic are shown with the timestamp for when the topic was created, rather than when the actual comment was made.

I have the bbp style pack plugin, but can’t see a way to fix this here.

While I cannot share a link as this is a private site, I will try to explain.

A New topic was created in a forum on 7th march at 9:21am, and all subsequent replies show under this date/time on the front end (no matter when they were posted). On the backend, under the forum replies tab, I can see the actual date and time these were posted, but it shows incorrectly on the live site, confusing users.

ok, not much i can do without seeing it, but it could be a theme or plugin issue

Themes

As a test switch to a default theme such as twentytwenty, and see if this fixes.

Plugins

If that doesn’t work, also deactivate all plugins apart from bbpress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.

If you cannot do this to your site (say because it is live) then use the ‘troubleshooting’ features of this plugin to let you test without affecting other users
