I am running Genesis/Premise (Executive Pro theme) and they have confirmed that there is no issue with the theme.

It is an issue with your theme not playing nice with bbPress 😉

Try making a copy of your themes full width template eg. page.php file (Or page-sidebar.php if you want a sidebar) and rename it to bbPress.php then all your bbPress pages will use this template.

How’d that go?

No luck with that solution. Does the new bbPress.php file need to reside in the theme folder, or does it replace the current bbpress.php file in the plugin folder.

I actually tried both and nothing worked, but thought I would ask.

It should be in your theme folder, though maybe this is what you need and/or are you using it?

The Genesis Extend plugin seems to have done the trick.
