    Hi guys over there!

I have a little problem with my forum… and I hope you can help me with it.
I’m setting up a new forum and I’m trying to set-up custom permissions for each forum
    e.g.:
Forum A -> Access & View only to Group A
Forum B -> Access & View only to Group B
Forum C -> Access & View only to Group C

To solve this problem I have found two plugins:
    Members -> http://wordpress.org/plugins/members
    bbPress Permissions -> https://github.com/ZanderAdam/Tehnik-bbPress-Permissions

The problem is that when i activate the second plugin (bbpress permission) I see all forums more than one time…
    I see something like that:
    FORUM A
    FORUM B
    FORUM C
    FORUM A
    FORUM C
    FORUM B
    FORUM A

    Instead of a simple:
    FORUM A
    FORUM B
    FORUM C

Someone had this problem with the plugin?

    Ty for response 🙂

    questions

    1. Does it work apart from this?
    2. Exactly where are you seeing this forum list?
    3. presume you are only seeing this list as an admin seeing everything? Do users restricted to one forum see only their forums?

I think you have the same problem as me. Are you also using this mod https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/forums-index-in-the-same-layout-as-other-bb-software/ ?
    Look I posted there too.

It happens in the index page of the forum.

    And EXACTLY it appears like:
    Forum A
    – Forum A
    – Forum B
    – Forum C
    Forum B
    – Forum A
    – Forum B
    – Forum C
    Forum C
    – Forum A
    – Forum B
    – Forum C

I think it is a sort of incompatibility between a plugin and the permissions plugin

With all due respect to the developers of bbPress and its plugins,

People, bbPress admins, should realize that bbPress is a plugin/add-on to WordPress and bbPress is ideal for adding a nice straight forward forum to your WP, what I am setting up now for myself for the first time next my WP.

I have extended experience with phpBB forum software.
Changes/addons like these is not what bbPress is intended for, in my humble opinion.
If you want all the extra’s and whistles, people should use phpBB, which also can be used next to WP. I believe WP has plugins for that and phpBB also supports it with MOD’s/plugins.
