First time using bbPress since it became a plugin…

I was expecting there to be some theme elements out of the box. Did I miss something, or do I have to do all the CSS myself?

Give 2.1 RC4 a try. It does a pretty good job of just working out of the box.

I haven’t installed it yet, but is there a simple way to get the layout of this forum?

I appreciate your help with the recent build.

No, not easily. You would have to create a custom theme.

This forum is built on an old version of bbPress. It’s actually going to be upgraded very soon and will look similar to what you see in 2.1 RC4.

It would be super if there was a way to have layout options. :-)

How tough would it be to port over the layout? Is the code similar enough in terms of functions?

I think you need to play with CSS to resolve your problem.

At this point, I”m more interested in the layout and if I need to port functions over from the stand alone bbPress than CSS. The CSS I can handle, just didn’t want to have to do it all.
