when an user tries to edit the topic content, the textarea for the content displays the full content

As noted elsewhere, this looks like a conflict with the editor plugin you are using.

We need some more information on what the plugin is and any other tweaks your using help out here

This kind of looks normal since when you edit the topic all you see is the Text editor which will show the html tags.

Also did you copy and paste the content of the whole topic page as an test, or was it just like that??

hey everybody,thank you for your answers, i found that the issue was being caused by this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/show-template/

for some reason was enabled on production.
