i found this plugin that does exactly what you say.

as long as you have allow anyone to register to site activated then it looks like it should work fine.

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/dm-confirm-email/

there are plenty more plugins that also do this type of thing but they do additional things lik custom login forms. What i used in the past was a plugin called Register Plus Redux.

if you want something different and with more features go search the WordPress repository.

Hello! I tested the plugin you went and did not work. The registration confirmation e-mail has not arrived. Also tested the plugin Register Plus Redux and occurred the same mistake. There came the email with the password confirmation. I do not know what to do, can you help me please? I need your help.

The email was used hotmail.com. I believe that at gmail also is not working. The link in my forum is: http://lbfgamesonline.com.br/novo-usuario/

Help me solve this problem please?
    Much obliged.

Hello, I tested with Gmail and Yahoo both worked perfectly. One detail is that the confirmation email sent was to span box. Also tested with Webmail and worked perfectly. Now my only problem being with Hotmail.

    Can you help me?
    Much obliged.

contact the plugins author on their support forum and tell them that it has issues with hotmail.

they would know more about how to fix the issue.

Sounds like some email systems are ejecting mail

    Does the email address in

    Dashboard>settings>general match the domain

    eg

    Website http://www.mysite.com

    Dashboard>settings>general fred@gmail.com

Doesn’t match, and many email systems will delete this email as spam

    Website http://www.mysite.com

    Dashboard>settings>general fred@mysite.com

does match as both are mysite, so emails are coming from the correct domain

Most host providers give email addresses that match the domain, and admins you can forward incoming mail to your ‘normal’ email or set them up a say pop3 email accounts.

    As per my post above

    Does the email address in

    Dashboard>settings>general match the domain

    that is
does the email address in Dashboard>settings>general end in lbfgamesonline.com.br

    for instance

    info@lbfgamesonline.com.br

Hello, I put the email as follows: contato@lbfgamesonline.com.br. It is only to set it?

    @robin-w

Do you mean that it has always been set at that, or that you have just set it as that?
