Im recieving a message that just say ‘comments off’ at my forum page. Just installed it.

What theme are you using. If you temporarily switch your site to TwentyEleven does it still do it?

Im using my own theme ive designed myself.

With TwentyEleven theme it works fine.

Unfortunately it’s an issue with your theme so it’s hard for us to tell you exactly what the problem is.

I would try contacting the theme author.
