blank topic page

    Hi there,

i’ve got a Problem with my bbpress forum.
When I want to view a topic in the Frontend, then i stare at a blank page
After creating a new WordPress site and using the shortcode “[bbp-single-topic id=$topic_id]” it works.
So I can only view the Topic after creating a WordPress page for it.

Is there a Way WordPress creates automatic a Page for a new Topic, with the necessary Shortcode?
Maybe there is another solution for my problem.

I look forward to your replies and thank you in advance 🙂

it could be a theme or plugin issue

    Themes

As a test switch to a default theme such as twentytwenty, and see if this fixes.

    Plugins

If that doesn’t work, also deactivate all plugins apart from bbpress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.

If you cannot do this to your site (say because it is live) then use the ‘troubleshooting’ features of this plugin to let you test without affecting other users

    Then come back

Thank you for your fast reply.

I’m using a Flatsome Child Theme and it doesn’t work.
When i activate parent Flatsome Theme, or Twentytwenty, my problem is solved.
Is there a way that i can continue my work with Flatsome Child and solve my problem?
It would be the last option to change the Theme.

looks like something in the child theme is affecting.

Where did you get the child theme from ?

I bought the parent theme here
    https://themeforest.net/item/flatsome-multipurpose-responsive-woocommerce-theme/5484319
So i could the child theme simply activate.
    No extra download was needed.

ok, as this is a paid theme, suggest you raise this with their support – if it works with the parent theme, it should with the child theme
