The question that relates to bbpress 2.0 that I would like to find an answer to is:

Is there integration between bbpress’ user profile, and the BuddyPress user profile? E.G – will there be two separate profiles that will need to be maintained by the user?

I don’t know, but what I’m doing now (as a workaround) is using the redirection plugin for WordPress to re-direct the bbpress profiles to the BuddyPress profiles. So I’m only using the BuddyPress profiles at the moment. Works great.
