Hi All,

I have WP & BB integrated…..

One thing which isn’t working…. The avatars….

When a WP avatar is uploaded…. It isn’t visible in BB…

Can someone please help me out before i will do something to myself

Use Gravatar.com.

Support for which is built into wp and bbpress and a million other sites on the internet. I just went through this same thing: trust me and buy into the gravatar system, which may be kind of clunky but is far better than anything you can hack together.

It works very well, i use it on my site http://www.jeansbox.nl/ you can check it.

I agree 100% with HSeatSleeper.

Gravatars works great with bbPress. Best of all the webmaster or editor does not have to be concerned about anything being uploaded to the server, security issues, etc.

In “User photo” plugin for wordpress you can adjust the settings so that if there is no uploaded avatar on the server, then it shows a gravater. So my example is a better alternative then to just use a (standard) gravater.
