I have large number of subforums under parent forums. I want my members to create topics only in specific subforums and not every subforum.

There should be some way out, I am unable to figure it out…

Any help, will be appreciated!!

i think changing the status to closed of the specific subforums you dont want any new topics in should do it.

go to the backend in the forums section

search for your specific forums

click edit on each then change status to closed.

Is there a way to disable them to create a new topic BUT let them reply in the subforums that are ‘Closed’ ??
