Now I have an opposite problem! I have a hidden group with only 2 members, me and another of my email addresses. I’ve been using this for testing.

Problem is that over 600 members have received updates that I posted in the group.

Shouldn’t this only go to group members??

How can I fix this?

Hidden group or forum ?
If you say ‘group’, you mean a BuddyPress group or a group from a plugin like bbP Private Groups ?

Hi Pascal,

It is a BuddyPress group that I have hidden with only 3 members. The group has a forum, and I started a new topic thinking only the members of the group would get it, but all 600+ members got an email from it.

The topic-subscribe is for bbPress forums, it seems to have this impact on BuddyPress as the groups are in the forum !
