after upgrading to bbPress 2.2.2, I get 404 error when going to the forums base (mydomain.com/forums) or forum base / slug (mydomain.com/forums/forum) but I can still go directly to a forum topic. How do I get rid of the 404 error and restore my forums base directory of topics?

Thanks Shane but I’m not sure what you mean. Your obviously at a much higher skill / knowledge level than me so could you please dumb it down and explain a little more for me? How do I resave a permalink?

In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Settings -> Permalinks and press the ‘Save Changes‘ button. (You don’t need to actually change anything, just re-save them)
