We had a working forum last week but the host of the website upgraded WordPress to a version 5.0.3 and the forum stopped working. bbPres seems to be compatible with up to 4.99. What feeling on when it will be compatible up to 5.03 so the functionality will return?

bbpress is compatible with 5.0.3 and works fine on my test site.

It may be a conflict with your theme or plugins

Themes

As a test switch to a default theme such as twentyfifteen, and see if this fixes.

Plugins

If that doesn’t work, also deactivate all but bbpress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.
