Adding forum to WordPress Website

  • ShaneMundee

    Hey guys,

I want to add a forum to my companies website, so we can improve our retention rate and increase our return rate.

I should be able to add buddypress to the site right ? I’ve never done this before and don’t know exactly where to begin. The website is – the forum would be somewhere on the menu bar.

Basically, we’re wanting to add a forum onto the menu bar, so that business owners can ask questions and get free advice before actually committing to professional help.

If you have any suggestions on how to go about this, i would really appreciate the help.

    Thank you!

  • Hi,
If you are looking for buddyPress, then you are not on the right support forum.
If you want to add a forum and you look for bbPress, then we can help you further. The basic steps for installing are here:
If anything is not clear, just get back and open another thread.

Easy, just install bbpress and activate plugin.

From dashboard you create a forum and publish

Then go to appearance => menus, and add forums to your navigation.

But the link Pascal gave should give you a good start
