Some reason I am not getting the activation e-mail. when someone registers to the site. can someone help please? Tell me what I am doing wrong?

Sorry… This is the link to my site. Its unfinished. I just wanted to get users enabled into it… but its not sending the activation e-mail at all.

You have BuddyPress installed and this sends an activation email.

So maybe contact BuddyPress about that.
