I’ve updated all my language files to the latest stable versions. You can download them on my page and use them freely wherever you want.
At the moment there are language files available for the following versions of bbPress:
1.0.2 and 1.0.3 (old versions) formal and informal
1.1 (current standalone version of bbPress, released today) formal
2.0 (the brand new WordPress plugin of bbPress, released today) formal

Yes, of course, but I want to run an external forum installation with the same design. BuddyPress has group forums, but there should be an external forum that has nothing to do with group forums.

You can install a standalone bbPress forum and share user database and cookies with BuddyPress quite easy… Just fill the bb-config.php before running the setup.
