I too can confirm this problem with Nextgen Gallery causing groups to redirect.
Well, that explains it. If it’s part of the core, then it’s time for a reinstall. I did that, and now all is well. I can only guess that there was an FTP error of some sort… funny though how it was so selective in that everything seemed to work except RSS.
