In reply to: Forwarding bbPress logins to WPMU login page.
I’m trying to have a central signon at my site, where users must sign onto WP first and access bbPress via a page link. The logic you’ve provided looks like it can be incorporated to include the bbPress login page, is this correct?
Also, I’m waiting for the revised Admin SSL plugin to be published for WP. This should allow be to secure the WP site and hopefully the bbPress. Are there any other backdoors or pages users can directly access from the outside that may need redirection?
In reply to: Sneak peek at bbPress.org 2.0Wow! The future bbPress looks incredible. Fantastic work Sam!
Is there a planned target date set for it?
In reply to: ChatI’m looking at incorporating php_Free_Chat into my WordPress site. Others have been able to integrate it into their WordPress sites. I’m not sure if it can be directly integrated into bbPress; however, it may work if ‘deep integration’ is used (Sorry for mentioning DI, Sam).
php_Free_Chat is free, unless you remove the link button to their site.
In reply to: Restrict bbPress Access To Signed On WP Users OnlyHi,
I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about how to do this?
Thanks,
Amy

phpFreeChat is free, unless you remove the link button to their site, then there is a price structure that is based on the type of website you are hosting.
Here’s the link that discusses WordPress integration:
In reply to: Mask bbPress Installation DirectoryHi chrishajer,
Thank you so much for that detailed response. Application neutral is what I am looking for. The /forums idea is a great suggestion and one I will follow. I haven’t started the install yet, I’m trying to get my ducks in order before I start shooting. I’m reading all I can about bbPress integration with WordPress so I do something I’m going to regret later on.
Sincerely,
Amy
