The reason these guys are not getting enough help from the likes of CK and others is becuase this is an Autommaticc product, it may be open source, but it’ll get lots of money out of it for any person to help voluntarily… I think they need some programmers and a proper PAID team to develop this,,.. becuase it isn’t going no where. SCROUNGING OF VOLUNTEERS…
besides all that,.. its a good script but i believe Matt Mullenweg and co are going abit cheapo on this.

Im using BBpress Version 1.0-alpha-6 with WP 2.7.1.. i also have it intergrated cookies and database.

now i haven’t touched any other file, i havent touched compat.php either.
Im using the latest alpha version, My wordpress is on root, and my forum is on a folder called /community.
I put this on wp-config.php :-

im getting this error:-

im getting the same error, but the reference above (chrishajer’s) doesnt help.
iv looked everywhere and the documentary, it just shows for WP functions to go in bbpress… i need a vice versa
i just want to add bbpress functions to wordpress what header files do i have to include where?
i would like to know how to do the other way round of adding BBPRESS functions in wordpress.
how do you go about doing a guestbook for each user?
bbPress is still better but i need to make a decision quick, the PM feature is lacking soo much idk if they’ve fixed the plugin yet.
you can always start a new field for a user and call it “occupation” or something…
however what i want is a stable PM feature, a built in one so i dont have to go chasing around 3rd party plugin authors websites, and reading tons of crap on what the next mod is to secure the bloody loop whole.

im not trying to be an ass people, i appreciate everything you guys have done, coz its the best light-forum on the net,,…. but a PM feature is available as standard on every forum, and it makes sense, to know if the feature is stable or not. and trust to download it. rather than rely on 3rd party pluging it.
who wouldnt want PM in a forum anyway.
its like if you the PM feature part of BBPress, than you could update it easier with the newer releases. it doesnt make sense , but anyway..
could you guys just please make private messaging part of the forum and NOT a plugin, man all this is really unprofessional…. hearing this news has just set me back so much !!
whats the point of having it as a plugin, and then a mod, and then security issues…. everyone adding bits to it, it becomes a mess.. Just make it part of the forum.

yeah but for 0.9 is the user WP roles/permissions intergrateed with the user/permissions of BBpress?
which one is the best one to use? and whens 1.0 going stable?
and another question, does it give rss feeds of each forum?
