Hello, I have the exact same problem :

On /forum page I put this bbpress shortcode : [bbp-topic-form]

And when non-admin user is logged-in, it displays the message “You cannot create new topics.”

Any workaround ?

Is there a way to make the shortcode [bbp-topic-index] displaying only a certain amount of topics ?

Something like [bbp-topic-index n=$number]
