Why would you remove the “Freshness” code from public views by the way?
would suggest the same thing Andre has advised but there were still options left on your side to think about that will work to your preference and advantage.

I have the same error too a while ago. I just overlook on the title and the topic where you have to post it. Make sure it has a title and topic. Topics can be seen in the drop down menu just below the tags box and make sure not to click on the “resolved” drop down menu below the title box ( it should be in “unresolved” or “not a support question” setting before clicking the “create topic” box. Simply follow the error message if it still appears.
I am supporting this request/motion. This will be beneficial to all who use the old bbpress version concerns.
