    Robin W,

Thank you for your help! PROPER USAGE of the theme’S Customiser is the solution:

The original GLOBAL LAYOUT of my current Bootstrap theme was set to FULL WIDTH. What I had tried to do was individually reset my forum pages to include a right sidebar.

    Didn’t work…

When I reset my GLOBAL LAYOUT to RIGHT SIDEBAR, the bbPress forum pages then displayed properly, but the rest of my Pages & Posts looked like crap. I’m in the process of INDIVIDUALLY resetting the layout of my Pages & Posts to FULL WIDTH.

bbPress was never the problem. My choice of theme layout was. I guess that the current solution for enabling bbPress in Bootstrap Themes is to start your site with a GLOBAL LAYOUT that includes a SIDEBAR.

    Robin W,

I’ve been tied up today, and didn’t get around to this until about 20 minutes ago.
Here’s what I’ve got so far:

    http://toolbox-4-websites.com/forums/
    http://toolbox-4-websites.com/forums/forum/like-or-not-like/
    http://toolbox-4-websites.com/forums/forum/responsive-web-design/

All of my widgets appear at the bottom of the page (left justified), AND
my meta widgets for registration signup appear on other pages.

    I’ll work on that tomorrow.

    Jesusismygrace,

I am NOT a programmer, just an avid WordPress user. The last theme that I used was the popular Customizr that is still based upon Bootstrap 2. I couldn’t get bbPress to work with it properly.

I switched to Ward Pro https://themes.bavotasan.com/2013/ward-pro/ because it is based upon Bootstrap 3, and thought I would have better luck. Not necessarily so.

I am still thinking (but not sure) that bbPress has to be displayed as Pages in a WordPress theme. If that is done, then some themes will allow the user to add sidebars to display sign-in features for visitors. What I don’t get is that bbPress opens a window for each forum, but the WordPress Admin window doesn’t show it as a Page that can be edited ?!

    I don’t quite get it, but I’m not a programmer…just a user.

    Robin W,

I does work in Twenty Twelve. I’ll notify the Theme Developer.

    Thanks

    Robin W,

I don’t have a “bbPress Sidebar” Widget. I guess that means it’s a Theme issue, huh?
