The problem is with a recent change made to Wishlist and their lack of willingness to correct it.
I wonder if there is any solution that bbPress could make to set it right again.

It appears to work via the “Subscribe” link at the top of a thread. The check-box in the new topic/reply form doesn’t seem to take properly.
Ok. So, turns out part of this one was stupidly easy. To have the profile link to a BuddyPress user profile, chance the User Base to ‘members’ instead of ‘users’.
Now, getting BP xprofile info to show up when called… any ideas?
Would be helpful to know how to integrate BuddyPress hooks into the bbp template as well. For example:
<?php echo xprofile_get_field_data(#); ?>
or
<a href="<?php bp_displayed_user_link() ?>"><?php bp_displayed_user_fullname() ?></a>
Really, no way to redirect to non-bbpress profile?
