I’m fixed! Thanks again.
Nevermind, fixed the second code, it’s missing a );
Thanks for this info!
So, the bbpress.php page worked, its loading the correct forums looking page now, no sidebar, but I can add that into this page. I see how it works.
The breadcrumbs code unfortunately does not work, causes a parse error if I try to add the second part, this one http://take.ms/JKeuq
The first part works, but if I add the second part, it breaks. If I just have the second part, it breaks….has this code become outdated?
Thank you. The Subscribe link is now moved over.
Still working on the forums page and ultimately would like more control over the breadcrumb, like changing the Home URL, or removing Home alltogether, in which I’ve used another plugin to turn it into a dash.
I tried the creating a forum page trick you linked to and mentioned, here’s a screenshot. http://take.ms/P50mX
Page still loads weird search data -> http://take.ms/fBaV7
In reply to: Topic Content Missing, but Replies Show?!Thank you for the suggestions.
Repairs did nothing
Theme change back to 2014 did nothing.Deactivating Wishlist showed the content. I monkeyed with Wishlists settings, making sure no protection was on the page, removing topics from it’s custom post type of content available for protection, etc.
No dice, still hides JUST the topic content, very odd. I’ve reached out to their support but can’t count on anything, any other suggestions on digging through how to fix it, now that I’ve at least narrowed down a possible cause?
In reply to: Posts and Replies not appearing for Forum usersI have this same issue, has anyone made any headway!
Thanks this is resolved!
Bump, any help?
In reply to: wrong navigation current_page, need CSS helpHmm You are not understanding, this picture will make it clear.
It is not right for everyone.
When you click on the menu item Forum, and are brought to the Forum page, the incorrect page is then highlighted.
See here with arrows to show you what I mean: http://bit.ly/1gZvkXd
What SHOULD be happening, is that Forums should be highlighted as that is the correct page, and what the site loading for the current page.
I see on this thread https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/navigation-problem-current_page_item-not-set-for-forums-in-navigation-tabs/ someone had tried to solve it using CSS, to force highlighting the correct menu item, but I am having trouble with that, and looking for assistance.

In reply to: wrong navigation current_page, need CSS helpronthai, I’m not sure what you’re looking at but this is what that page looks like. http://bit.ly/1f4AWyb
The login form is on the right. You can use the link to go directly to the forums page that FreeWPress used, and then login, same thing.
Thank you for checking it out, this navigation highlight issue is driving me crazy.
In reply to: wrong navigation current_page, need CSS helpBump, would really love some support on this.
In reply to: help with a bbpress.php full width templateThanks for the response, I’m coming back now to say I’ve figured this out.
Pagelines actually has a plugin to integrate with BBpress which lets you control this from their system.
If I could only figure how to get the right menu item to highlight when on the forum, can you assist with that? I’ve described the problem, and given the site information here: https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/wrong-navigation-current_page-need-css-help/
Thank you!
@mitesh-patel Could I have some help on how to do this with my website? It’s a membership site so right now there’s nothing to see, but can you connect with me and I can give you access?
I’m trying to adapt the code you’ve given here but this isn’t working.
body.bbPress #nav > menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-158 sfhover > a {background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #F2F2F2;}
The site is at http://dev.itarsenal.com right now
