Anyway i would recommend a better documentation with complete functions reference and filters/actions list.
I spent almost two days to figuring out that simple task to add a new topic link and page, it could be so useful that a mention on the documentation would be a must for theme developers.

Yep, it’s brute force, but at the moment is the only way, for non admin accounts, to see the forums if the wordpress installation is using also WPML plugin.
If i deactivate WPML, also non admin users can see the forums, if i activate, admins can see the forums, but non admins get a 404 error page.
