There seems to be some extra filtering going on in the
bbp_get_topic_pagination_count
filter that I use to insert some extra detail about who (which logged in users) has seen a post. That’s fine of course. The problem for me is that I insert a<span>
(with a class) to enable styling of my extra content and this new filtering is coding the HTML, e.g.<
becomes< ;
etc. Can this be addressed please? Or can you direct me as to which filter to switch off please? In reply to: Best bbpress polls pluginYes, the plugin still works fine with the latest version of WP.
Robin W, yes exactly that. But … you are a hero, the first of your “fix” plugins above for ISSUE 2 is an instant fix. Thank you!
Yes, even when I select the stock 2014 theme the issue is present!
I’m not sure the theme is relevant either, however, I am using Responsive. I am sure this issue is a problem in the core of either WP or bbPress…
Correct, that’s what i meant when I wrote “I don’t use any of the plugins [or themes] mentioned here”. 😉
Hi,
I don’t use any of the plugins or themes mentioned in this thread. Yet, after upgrade to WP4 bbPress topics are not shown. Argh! So frustrating. Has anyone made any progress on solving this one?
Cheers,
PeteIn reply to: Best bbpress polls plugin@palmdoc, no if you edit a thread (and/or the poll) all is well, there is no bug. What you are not allowed to do is have a poll at the reply level – polls can only be created at the start of a thread, i.e. topic level. If what you report is occurring it is either a user error or a problem caused by another plugin.
If you have further problems using the plugin please email me directly.
In reply to: Best bbpress polls pluginHi, thanks for trying out my plugin – I hope you enjoy using it. But sorry yes you are right; any two plugins that use the same shortcode are never going to work together. I trust you can figure out which of the two you want to continue using.

Give me a shout if you need help – my contact details are on my site…In reply to: Best bbpress polls pluginThanks for the suggestion. However, the plugin is very very cheap – just a cup of coffee.
In reply to: any POLLS that will work with current versions?I really struggled to find a polls feature for bbPress that met my needs, so I created my own!

If you don’t have one (a template, or a template without this file), bbPress will be using the default one in “bb-templates/kakumei”
In reply to: Can’t add additional tags to postGreat job Scott!
In reply to: Permissions : Create a new Forum?I am a dork!
I searched and searched – so I posted – and then I found this https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/cant-add-additional-tags-to-post
The detailed fix by Scott works – ye ha!
Isn’t it always the way?
