If I set my test user to Keymaster, I can login and see the threads, but when trying to reply, the system tells me that I have no right to do so – even when the test user is WP admin, too. And even though I could actually post a new thread with my admin account an hour ago. And if I set my user to moderator, he gets 404 like all others.

Yesterday morning, I set the time for one post for ten minutes back via phpmyadmin, to see if I can change the order of replies that way. It did not seem to have any negative effect then. I set the change back yesterday night, but that did not help. Could my little change in the database be the reason, that the forum now shields itself from any users except Keymasters?

So my logged in users are blocked out of the entire forums front-end with a 404. But when they log out, they can see everything again. This is true even for freshly registered users.

    Hi,
I opened a new topic, and for this forum (okay, it’s the only topic in it), the Freshness is correct. But the rest of them, Freshness is not calculated correctly. That was the same yesterday, when I replied in another forum – it did not have an effect on the rest of my forums’ Freshness as shown on the main page.

Oh, okay, now it gets even worse: I ran this repair option: “Recalculate last activity in each topic and forum” – and afterwards, the last correct entry under “Freshness” in the forums main page finally became an older one, too. Seems like now they are all the original thread starting entries. The exact opposite of what this repair option should have done. I ran this option multiple times tonight. No wonder the Freshness got more and more broken.

So, maybe not a multisite issue after all.

Okay, I can deactivate bbpress if I remember to deactivate bbp Style Pack. And the double click is due to some other reason… so this case can be closed.

So, in Chrome loading starts on first click, but with some seconds delay. What I wrote before was in regard to Firefox…

Thanks, but it broke my site. Also, did you include the “? Please don’t.

“Upload a profile picture on Gravatar.”

Something like that, possibly in better English, since I am not a native speaker.

@netweb Thanks, I was specifically told by one GTE to go via the plugin author(s) in the process detailed above. I would have asked him directly again, but last time he only made an exception, he told me then.

So, I already am on Slack, but still I need you do it 🙂

    Hi,

there is but one reason why they will not answer – it’s because they don’t offer free support. There was one thread with kind of a solution, but I don’t know what plugin he meant. So I tried what he suggests with “Add Admin CSS”, and it didn’t work. (It just gave me access to the same custom CSS sheet I use with Jetpack.)

Since Yoast SEO is the major SEO plugin, I hoped maybe one of you had found a solution and would like to share? If I am right, this would be a very common problem.

    Best
    Manuel
