    @landshark

    I found a plugin that allowed me to bulk edit in the admin. Custom Bulk/Quick Edit Premium there is a free version however I needed the premium version to work with bbpress.

    Hope this helps someone else.

    After more investigation I have concluded that the topics effected have a all 0’s in the date column in simplepress when imported into bbpress they are adjusted to the current date/time. I think this is a carryover from my conversion from SMF to Simplepress. So I do not think it is able to be fixed since the original date time is gone.

    Thanks, I had read those pages. Seems like all went well except the weird freshness thing. hopefully @netweb will have some idea of what’s going on.

    Tried the import a couple of more times, played with the row limit and delay time settings and no change. Just takes longer.

    Also noticed it is always the same posts that are affected. Just haven’t been able to figure out a common thread.

    One other thing to add, this was originally an SMF form that was converted to simplepress a year or two ago when I couldn’t get SMF converted to bbpress properly.

    @landshark: all external images (linked within posts) are showing up here, so that seems to work.

    Yeah I’m sure there mus be something unique about my situation that is causing the conversion to choke but I’ve run out of ideas as to how to figure it out. I was hoping for some help but alas, nothing.

    Being completely ignored for 2 weeks is frustrating to say the least.

    I’m still looking for some help on this. I’m stuck and my site is in limbo until I can get the conversion complete.

    Is there anyone that might have a clue as to why my images are not showing up and some posts are only being partially imported?

    I’m having some issues converting an SMF forum to BBPress. The SMF forum has about 7,500 members, 7000+ topics and 45,000+ replies.

    It seems the links to images are not being imported, my guess it is a problem with the [img] bbcode? But not sure.
    I understand that I won’t be able to get attached images imported but i would think that linked images would not be a problem.

    Also some of the posts are being truncated. I might get the first sentence but the rest is dropped. But not on all of them.

    I tired slowing the import down to 50 items at a time with a 2 second pause but still same results.

    I’m on a dedicated server. Latest bbpress version, and SMF version is 2.0.4

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
