    To clarify a wee bit:
When clicking the edit button in a topic inside a group forum, it links to:
    http://www.site.com/groups/name-of-group/forums/topic/name-of-post/edit/

But that does nothing. And if you try to edit a reply, it links to
    http://www.site.com/groups/name-of-group/forums/topic/reply-to-name-of-post/edit/

and that actually leads you to a “Oh bother! No topics were found here!” error page.

It seems this is slated for a 2.2 fix, but is there any known workarounds for 2.1 as this is causing me a fair bit of problems right now.

    Noone?

Edit: lol, some weird aging on the original post – at the moment it’s 42 years old.

    Hey,

I really like the remake and update, but please, it’s time to retire the old plugin repository. Not maybe retire it entirely, but it shouldn’t be the more promoted option over the 2.x one. The plugin link above should lead to the WordPress bbpress section or something like that, and have a link to the old repository from there, not the other way around. It’s time to move forward and stop confusing new users.

I’m at the 2.1 (but haven’t updated from the trunk in a week maybe) but 3.3 release version of WP and then I enter the same thing into settings and nothing happens, unless I add the css you suggested.

EDIT: It could be that my theme is causing some havoc as well. I had quite a lot of problems with it since it was designed for bbPress 2.0 table layout and not really ready 2.1 list layout.

Ah, many thanks. Silly me, I did one or the other, but never both iframe and embed at the same time.

I had to set height to 312px though, or the aspect ratio got quite funny.

    Big thanks for the help!

All your posts and structure will be intact. You may have to look over your theme settings though, as they made quite a lot of changes there.

It is also backwards compatible, so if you install 2.1 you can revert back 2.0.

    Hey,

I’m confused here, how do I enable the users to insert images?

I’m using 2.1 and but even me as an administrator don’t see add any image upload or insert options when posting.

EDIT: To clarify, I can see the options when posting from the admin section, but not from the forums.

Seems so, I’m using 2.1 beta version, which, as far as I understand, don’t need a child theme. Is there anything specific I should look for?

Yeah, I’d really enjoy an easy way for users to add images to their posts. Find a bit odd that there’s a parser for Youtube links and a lot of of other media types, but not normal images.

Preferably it would would just as adding a Youtube link does, meaning – just add a link ending in .jpg, .png, .jpeg and .gif and it would show the image.
