The memory limit made the problem.
Within the .htaccess I did now include the following line:
php_value memory_limit 256M
That fixed the problem.
For me now to have a talk to the server maintenance personnel for the memory_limit to be increased in general, what’s the recommended server memory setting? Is it 256M or even higher?
The parent forum 1 has to be set to forum type Category, as topics cannot be posted in such a Category type forum.
