Try creating a new forum and selecting type: category
Then the forum can be under the category
It would look something like this:
Google
-Android
-Chrome
Once the user sign in to your site, they can post similar to what you are doing here.
Anyone with knowledge of site wide forums and can provide more details?

Not sure but you can also try looking under Pages and see if there is anything there that has the same name. Match your Forums base name and try that.

I was testing and got the same error message using the standard upload (didn’t use the plugin you have listed) but after I clicked on Installed Plugins and went back to try it again, it went through fine. At that point, I see two bbpress installs listed with the 2.0.2 version active and 3786 inactive.
Very strange.
Go to the wp admin section, then go to Settings and then Forums.
Check to make sure there are no conflicts
What exactly are you look to do? Stars to rank members?
I remember seeing mention of conversion from vanilla somewhere but now I do not see it on the list above. Was that dropped?
Also, what happens to urls from search engines after someone convert from another forum? Is there automatic match and redirect?
