In reply to: Show logged in users
Thanks you so much.
I’m not really technical, but the forum is the only place where people have access, so I guess all I have to do is somehow only have it show on the forum…?
In reply to: Viewing forumsI downloaded members and user role editor plugins and this seemed to have fixed everything.
Thanks.
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageThat change to the file worked perfectly.
Thanks very, very much johnhiler!!
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageYes, it still does, even with nothing changed. Just load plugin and activate (no changes), I get the error.
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageThank you! This works!!
I get an error now that says –
arning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/10298/domains/site.com/html/forum/bb-includes/functions.bb-forums.php on line 84
Will check with the Hidden Forum plugin creator too.
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageThanks again. I found where Role Moderator is hidden, now searching for how to do the Forum setting.
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageYes, that’s the goal. Exactly.
The thing is that this plugin seems to work in many forums just fine… Grr.
And *thanks* for all your help. Appreciate your responses.
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageall my plugins are in bb-plugins and the templates in bb-templates.
Should they be in my-plugins and my-templates?
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageWell, yes, it goes away. B/c that whole space is used by the forums instead. Weirdly, there’s another forum running 1.0 where it works fine. It is just this one that is having the issues…
I saw this thread too – https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/cannot-login-hide-forum
Which had a similar issue but was then fixed…
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageOh, I have the Force Login plugin to ensure that no forum is visible before logging in. But it was there before as well and the login page didn’t break like this…
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageNot integrated with anything. Stopped working after I upgraded to 1.0 beta.
I can reinstall something – but not sure what? B/c I just installed the newest available in the hope the problem goes away (1.o RC) but it is still there.
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageYes, Kakumei is my active theme (and only theme).
It says the error is on line 11. And line 11 seems to be –
$user_login_error = $bb_login_error->get_error_message( ‘user_login’ );
The context is this –
10<?php
11 $user_login_error = $bb_login_error->get_error_message( ‘user_login’ );
12 $user_email_error = $bb_login_error->get_error_message( ‘user_email’ );
13 $user_password_error = $bb_login_error->get_error_message( ‘password’ );
?>
In reply to: Ugly error on main pageWhat I did was reinstall bbpress on a new URL and pointed it at the old database. That worked fine.
Could that have messed up this login.php file?
In reply to: Export/Import is not workingI think part of the problem is that it is not importing the “forum”. It says the first forum has 0 posts. The forum with all the posts has not been imported… just the posts are there, dont know in which forum. Odd.
In reply to: Export/Import is not workingMy new forum is the Alpha. And the theme is the one that comes with it by default (kakumei).
The old forum was 0.9.0.4 that I upgraded to the Alpha in order to export.
Any ideas? Thanks so much for your help!
In reply to: Export/Import is not workingthe date values for the topic start times are all right – for example:

In reply to: Export/Import is not workingHmm… it did the import but it shows all the topic dates as 39 years ago (?)…
In reply to: Export/Import is not workingThank you. I am going to try that. Is it an issue if both the forums have the same username and email for the key_master…?
