In reply to: bbPress Plugin: Error when updating the user profile
I’ve just updated to the latest version of the plugin and I’m not getting the error I mentioned before.
Nonetheless, when I update my user profile (from the forum profile), everything seems to be working well except for when I update de Yahoo! and Gtalk info which in both cases are not being saved or updated.
John, I went through every line error I could find and noticed that indeed there were some errors in some variables in different parts of the translations.
As far as I can tell there are no errors now. Thanks for the tip on this error.
By the way, how do you mark this thread as “solved”? :-s
Thanks for your quick response, John.
Does it mean that I have to check the whole po file and find out the error manually?
I’ve just noticed that if I deactivate de language file then everything works as it should.
I’m letting you know this in case someone knows the solution.
Although, it dosen’t seem right that the language file throws any kind of error, or does it?In reply to: phpbb3 -> bbpress converter
I think this is great. I mean, I installed phpbb3 in my site and have been regreting it since users became more and more active.
I have a question, though. I’ve spent three days looking for some info (at google, wordpress, etc) and I think this is the right place.
Do I have to upload the bbpress files into the same directory where the phpbb files are right now or the new bbpress files can be anywhere? I’ve read that the database must be the same. My guess is that the files can be anywhere but I just want to make sure.
