Yesterday I stated a question on themehybrid.com, the payed forum of Justin Tadlock. He responded within 6 hours. He seems to care.
Why does no one of the bbPress team seems to care that because of an upgrade people are in trouble (or in my case their clients). No response, no possibility to contact anyone of bbPress. Please make bbPress a payed plugin and start providing decent support!

Can someone give me the correct url to a forum in my site so that I can try if it’s a problem of bbPress or my theme (Hybrid)?

http://www.stichtinginspiratiekring.nl/forums/forum/ledeninformatie/ is not correct, but which is?

    More about this problem:

In a page I pasted the shortcode [bbp-forum-index]. This shows the forums that are available. The url of one forum is for example:
    http://www.stichtinginspiratiekring.nl/forums/forum/ledeninformatie/
That url is not correct. All urls that are generated are not correct.

I changed the permalinks to standard. That gives for example a url as:
    http://www.stichtinginspiratiekring.nl/?forum=ledeninformatie

    404 again.

I guess my problem that subscribers/forum participants after the update of bbPress 2.2 can no longer edit their profile page (and all subscribers/participants before could) are a result of the incompatibility of bbPress and the Members plugin?
Do I still need the Members plugin now that the roles for WordPress and bbPress are no longer one?

Yes, I know. But subscribers will then have to install an RSS-reader. And relatively few people even know what RSS is…

Thanks for the tip. I didn’t realize that there were this much of plugins available for bbPress. The one you mentioned is not that practical. I’ve found “bbPress Notify”. Not ideal either, but it saves me from having to add all users myself. It would be nicer if people could subscribe themselves to the notifications. But for now I’m happy.
