In reply to: Increase max topic length?Another update, this also seems to be happening somewhat randomly. Admins are also having trouble posting a topic in groups at random. Getting “You cannot reply to this topic” even with topics on 1258 characters.
In reply to: Increase max topic length?Update to this, it doesn’t seem to be strictly character count that is causing this. Someone was able to post a topic of 14,400 characters yesterday (although I’m assuming replies and topics may have different character limits?). It also seems to be blocked people from posting short replies with images. Any insight here?
In reply to: Increase max topic length?It’s not uncommon for those in our community/forum to want to post things that are 5,000 – 17,000 characters. We’d like to mimic fb’s 63,206 character limit if at all possible. We’d need that for replies as well. Right now we’re seeing that users cannot post a reply with ~2,400 characters.
